The Tychy Falcons (2-3) head to Stadionu Miejskiego in Bialystok, Poland to face the Bialystok Lowlanders (3-2) in the sixth round of Poland’s Liga Futbolu Amerykańskiego, LFA.
These two teams met a month ago in Tychy and the Lowlanders came away with a 37-12 win. In the only game between these two teams in 2017, Tychy won 20-17.
Both teams have suffered losses to the league leading Wroclaw Panthers and Gdynia Seahawks. The Falcons lost 57-17 to the Panthers and 40-14 to Gdynia. Bialystok dropped a tight game to the Seahawks, losing 18-15 but were beaten 37-13 by Wroclaw in the opening game of the season.
The Lowlanders boast the second best offense in the LFA averaging 35.6 points a game while they only give up 6.7. Tychy has scored 134 points in five games but are allowing opponents to score an average of 26.8.
With only two games remaining after this in the LFA regular season, this game has enormous playoff implications.
